Assignment # 2

Assignment number two is to describe my surroundings. I feel, however, that many of my previous posts have already given an idea of the place I'm staying, my tent, my walk to work, the game drives around my camp, my field, my activities, etc... So I have decided to describe my home away from home through another medium, one that is close to this girl's heart: LUNCH!

Here is a selection of meals that Fridah has cooked for me in the last month or so. They are as delicious if not more than they look, and might I add dinner is even more so, often starting with a bowl of homemade soup (it's too dark to take photos in the evenings). I'm having a life-long love affair with soup by the way.

Fridah bakes all the bread for breakfast fresh in her oven, and even baked me a cake (randomly) a couple times. Fridah is a really talented chef and she rocks!
