Game Drive

Sunday June 7th.

Our guide was amazing. William is of the Maasai tribe, and went to school for wildlife management. He knows all the names (scientific & common) of all the things pictured here... Unfortunately I don't. But he told us stories of all the mating habits, housing, hunting, even poo. A veritable David Attenborough!

Can you guess what this first one is?

William learned a lot of what he knows about tracking and wildlife in college, but he also learned a good deal from shepherding with his father when he was growing up.Wild hartebeast in the distance:

Rare: a human encounter.


Not so rare: an elephant encounter.
