The marathon production team at work

While yesterday I was lazing around, this afternoon I finally went over to the other camp, where the team has begun to set up the VIP tents for the marathon. You see, I had made an attempt to visit before, but in order to actually get there you have to cross a small river via a log. The first time I did it I held hands with one of the guys, and I didn’t have my camera with me. Miraculously, I made it back all by myself! Actually it’s not that miraculous because it’s not a big river, it’s not very high off the ground, and it’s quite a nice log. It’s just that there’s one section that is more curved, and therein lies the challenge.

So: today I went over with my camera and took pictures of the gang setting up tents. It is a huge production – and they even got me to “help”. These things weigh 100s of kilos!
